How to Place an Ad

To place an advertisement on KZN Classifieds:- follow these simple steps:
- 1: Click on the tab in the top navigation of the page that says 'Place Ad'
- 2: Complete the Advert Submission form ensuring that you have placed your Ad under
the correct region and category.
- 3: Adverts must contain a heading, price, description and working
e-mail.
- 4: Select the number of days that the ad will run for then press OK to submit the ad.
- 5: An e-mail will be sent to your inbox asking you to verify your advertisement. Click on the link provided
to activate your advertisement. If your browser does not read the link as an active link, simply copy and
paste the link into your browser and click go.
- 6: Click on the 'ok' button to activate your advertisement.
- 7: Click on 'View Your Ad' to see your live advertisement.
*Please note: Any spam or offensive advertisements will be deleted.

How to Place an Sponsored Listing

To place a sponsored listing on KZN Classifieds:- follow these simple steps:
- 1: Click on the tab in the top navigation of the page that says 'Place Ad'
- 2: Complete the Advert Submission form ensuring that you have placed your Ad under
the correct region and category.
- 3: Adverts must contain a heading, price, description and working
e-mail.
- 4: E-mail the photograph that you would like displayed with your
listing to info@kznlive.com
- 5: An e-mail will be sent to your inbox asking you to verify your advertisement. Click on the link provided
to activate your advertisement. If your browser does not read the link as an active link, simply copy and
paste the link into your browser and click go.
- 6: Click on the 'ok' button to activate your advertisement.
- 7: Click on 'View Your Ad' to see your live advertisement.
- 8: An invoice will be sent to you via e-mail for your Sponsored
listing.
- 9: Sponsored Listings = R60 / month

How to View an Ad

There are four search options available for visitors to KZN Classifieds.
You can search either by main Category, by Location, by Quick Search or by
the items For Sale, Wanted or On Offer.
Search by Category:
- 1: Click on the appropriate category on the main page.
- 2: The category page will open, displaying all available ads for
that category.
- 3: To further refine your search by location or by subcategory,
click on the appropriate link on the left hand side navigation.
Search by Location:
- 1: Click on the appropriate Location on the left hand navigation
of the main page.
- 2: The Location page will open, displaying all available ads for
that area.
- 3: To further refine your search by category or by subcategory,
click on the appropriate link on the left hand side navigation.
Search by Quick Search:
- 1: Click on the Quick Search Tab in the top navigation of the
main page.
- 2: The Qucik Search page will open, displaying a search bar.
- 3: Add your search query using the % sign to start the query,
separate any words and end the query.
- 4: Press the submit query button for results.
Search by items For Sale, Wanted or On Offer:
- 1: Click on the appropriate tab on either the right hand
navigation or the top navigation of the main page.
- 2: The page will open, displaying all available ads for that
category.
- 3: To further refine your search by location or by subcategory,
click on the appropriate link on the left hand side navigation.

How to Respond to an Ad

To respond to an advertisement on KZN Classifieds:
- 1: Click on the link in the appropriate advert that says 'Email
Advertiser'
- 2: Complete the form that opens ensuring that you include your
contact details and a message / query for the advertiser.
- 3: Type the security code into the available area.
- 4: Click the 'Send E-mail' button.
- 5: Your e-mail will be sent to the advertiser.
