Overview: Aliwal Dive Lodge is situated above the Dive Shop and Training School. The beach, shops, restaurants and banks are only 3 minutes walk away.Choose from backpacker style ensuite rooms with ceiling fan and balcony, or light and airy queen size rooms with ensuite shower, balcony, fridge, fan, safe and tea/coffee making facilities. For a little extra you can stay in a king size (or twin bedded) room with the same great amenities, with the added luxury of airconditioning.

Overview: Honeywood is a luxury self catering and Bed & Breakfast establishment situated on the South Coast of KwaZulu Natal, 6km north of Port Shepstone. This secluded spot provides an ideal get away in a quiet forest garden, only 700 meters from the beach. The décor of the chalets relaxed garden style and lapa, all add to the real African experience. Accommodation We have seven self catering, four sleeper, two bedroom en-suite chalets. Our Chalets are all double story, with downstairs as well as loft bedrooms with beautiful views of the sloping forest garden. Each chalet is uniquely decorated providing interesting variation. The lounges are furnished with luxury couches, and each chalet is fully equipped with TV, stove, microwave, fridge kettle, toaster and other kitchen utensil. The chalets are serviced daily, except on Christmas day and Easter Sunday. Facilities The chalets face the sloping forest garden, pond and lapa, and this garden setting attracts a remarkable number of birds which is of interest to nature lovers, and provides a haven when the wind is blowing along the beach. Relax on the verandah, indulge in a walk in the lush garden or a take a dip in the pool; however you choose to unwind, Honeywood is the place. The Cellar doubles as reception and breakfast room and opens onto the paved area around the 8x4m pool which is available to guests. A Laundry service is available to guests and we provide secure off road parking on the premises. We regret that no animals are allowed. Breakfast & Dining Nourish is the on-site caterer at Honeywood. Owned and run by accomplished chef Dylan Smith, boasting both international and local experience. Nourish guarantees a gastronomic dining experience. Dylan will personalize each menu for any of your events held at Honeywood, whether it be a conference lunch, Wedding reception, Birthday celebration or Business function. For guests that don’t feel like cooking Nourish offers a range of well made, affordable pre-made meals available on request. Weddings & Functions Our forest lapa, overlooking a small dam, is perfect for small wedding receptions or special celebrations. With the help of our onsite functions coordinator the lapa can be transformed into your dream venue. Small, intimate conferences, private dining and team building are accommodated in the Cellar. Attractions and Activities Honeywood is situated close to all amenities such as the CBD, shopping centers, beaches as well as a number of restaurants. We are within easy driving distance of a number of golf courses, e.g. Port Shepstone, Margate, San Lameer, Port Edward, Selborne Park, and Pennington. The en-suite tree houses have a beautiful view from the balcony where you can take a relaxing bath or chill out in the hammock overlooking the jungle garden. Dorm:Whether you are travelling alone or in a group, staying in one of the spacious dorms will ensure an encounter with interesting travellers from all over the world.Double room (ensuite): Set in the tropical jungle, the wooden cottages with their open-air en-suite bathrooms will give you a memorable nature experience that will leave you wanting to come back for more.Twin rooms: Also set amid banana trees and starry skies, the twin rooms are spacious and will allow for a peaceful night's sleep between travel companions.
